How is one declared a saint?

2007 Prince Gallitzin Cross Award Recipient

Father Neil Dadey is pastor of Saint John the Evangelist Parish in Bellefonte and of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Parish in Penns Valley, and vicar forane (dean) of the Northern Deanery.

Father Dadey’s nomination form said “Father Neil is like a beacon with his light shining in all directions and all those who come to him in darkness are soon able to see the light.  Like Prince Gallitzin, Father Neil is a good, simple, loving priest preaching to himself as well as others as he journeys together with us to the Kingdom.  Through his discipleship of time and talent Father Neil has been an excellent example of the evangelizing characteristics of the Reverend Priest and Prince Demetrius Gallitzin.”
