J. O’Hara is a member of Holy Name Parish, Ebensburg, and is being
recognized for the extensive work he has done on renovating and repairing the
parish church, including the construction of a new altar.
A Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, he “is dedicated to
his church, his family and his community,” said nominator James R. Burkett.
His son, Michael J. O’Hara Jr. says it is “priceless” to have such
a father, and also calls him his “best friend.”
Self - employed as a painter, “Mike’s personality, integrity, work
habits, respect for others, polite and quiet demeanor” caused Mr. Burkett to
request his services, and “I know of many other individuals, churches, schools
and businesses that have used his services and talents.” |
